Nevada Revised Statutes require a special election to be held to fill the remainder of Congressman Heller's term of office, although the statutes are unclear on the exact conduct of such an election. Governor Sandoval has asked Secretary of State Ross Miller to provide him with the rules governing the conduct of the election as soon as possible.
